The young Russian is off to a solid start to his season with three points in his first three games. He is playing on the top line with Stamkos and Kucherov which is kind of a big deal. He also joins his line mates on the Bolts top PP unit, all while playing 20+ minutes a night. He appears to be playing more physical thus far this season as well with 7 hits in his first 3 games. As long as he sticks on the top line with two of the league's premier superstars, he is worth owning.

Perreault was a guy I targeted late in all of my drafts this season and he continues to be undervalued by most for whatever reason in the fantasy hockey world. He put up a very respectable 45 points in 65 games last season and has picked up where he left off with 3 in his first 3 games of the young season. He is in a top 6 role for the Jets, currently on the second line with Bryan Little and Patrik Laine. Perreault also shuffles from the 1st and 2nd PP units on a game to game basis. His multi-position eligibility plus a respectable amount of hits make him a valuable fantasy contributor across the board.
